Local Roots
Andrew is the founder and owner of Lewis Equity Group LLC and the principal broker of its affiliated brokerage, Lewis Realty Group LLC. He handles property discussions and coordinates the work personally.
Andrew grew up on Long Island and earned his BBA and MBA at Hofstra University. He likes getting to know the people behind each property—what they have in mind, what they’re weighing, and how he can help.
His perspective comes from owning and improving property as well as representing buyers and sellers. He has worked with first-time buyers, retirees, investors, and owners facing decisions that call for extra care.
He takes particular care with the unfamiliar parts of a sale: what a document is for, who is responsible for an issue, and what needs to happen before the next stage.

Boundary Records
A misrecorded property boundary prevented an earlier sale from proceeding, even after the property was under contract.
As purchaser, Andrew helped investigate the discrepancy and worked with his chosen title company.
The title company’s counsel resolved the boundary-record issue.
Municipal Records
Original property records had been lost in a Town of Brookhaven building-records fire.
As purchaser, Andrew pursued the municipal process for documenting the property’s existing use.
Andrew personally obtained a Certificate of Existing Use to address the missing documentation.
Throughout the Sale
Andrew keeps track of the questions that need answers, follows up with the people responsible, and tells you where the sale stands. He coordinates with attorneys, title professionals, surveyors, expeditors, and others as the property requires.
